Tom Taylor |

Explosive Power is operated by Coach Tom Taylor. He is currently
the Strength & Conditioning Coach for the
Texas Attack
Hockey Association
and the
Dallas Ice Jets at the Dr Pepper Stars
Center at Valley Ranch located in Irving, Texas.
Tom has a Bachelors of Science degree in Physical Education
and a Bachelors of Science degree in Engineering. Tom excelled in
football where he played for the Division-I University of Wyoming
Cowboys. While at the University of Wyoming Tom was a three-year
starter, obtained all-conference status as a senior, and was a team
captain.
Tom’s coaching experiences range from
coaching pre-school age children to Division I College Athletes.
He has coached football, hockey and soccer. Tom
was a graduate assistant football coach at the University of Wyoming
and was an assistant to the Strength and Conditioning Coach. Tom is a
Professional grade member of the
National Strength and Conditioning Association
(NSCA) and has a USA Hockey Level-3
certification.
In addition to strength and
conditioning Tom has coached for the Alliance Youth Hockey
Association and the Texas Heat Junior Hockey Association
(THJHA). While with the THJHA Tom lead the 2004-2005 Peewee team to the
North Texas Hockey League inaugural season Silver Division Champions
and the 2003-2004 Squirt team to the Texoma Travel League B-Division
Co-champions.
Tom has served as an Off-Ice conditioning coach for the Lone
Star Calvary of the North American Hockey League, Texas Attack
Hockey Association, Dallas Ice Jets Hockey Association, Texas Heat
Hockey Association, Ice Jets Girls Hockey Team and
Billy
Pye Goalie School.
